West Coast winter
After the purchase of my 24mm tilt shift lens and a superb shoot architectural and food shoot Johannesburg, I returned home and went away for a few days to unwind and took the lens out for a vigorous testing.
I'd already used the shift feature for much of the architectural work on the shoot the previous week, but this was time to play with the magic.
Its a stunning lens and so breathtakingly sharp. It was a misty day, so the soft light meant gentle shadows and subdued colours.
The tilting aspect of the lens meant that I could play with the focal plane and keep focus where I wanted a lose it in other parts of the shot.
