I've been shooting for Protea Hotels / Marriott for several years now, and I was called back last Monday to shoot the interiors of the hotel. Since the refurb the previous October, the interiors have had some more work done, and the result is a much more soft and intimate bar and public area. The restaurant has also been changed, and the result is simply stunning, and so nice to shoot.

The ravages of over 100 years of winter storms and summer sun has mostly reclaimed what was the Steam Ship Kakapo who ran aground in 1900. All that is left is the metal skeleton and some wooden parts of the ship. Nature is steadily reclaiming the ship. Read more
